FAQs:
What is my equipment worth?
It depends what the market is paying for your type of equipment at this time. I will typically contact 8-10 companies who are actively looking for your equipment. This will provide a “high” and “low” price for your equipment and this range will provide a current value. I usually will get 3-5 bids for your equipment and the highest bid wins.
What is your selling fee?
I will charge 20% selling commission for the equipment that is sold. For example, if the highest bid received for your equipment is $1000, then my fee is $200. That is a guarantee. I am upfront about my fees and I will communicate this for bids.
How do I know what equipment I have?
Most of the phone equipment on the market has part numbers on the bottom of the pieces or somewhere on the equipment. Look for the part numbers and revisions which you can e-mail, fax, or call in. I can help to determine what your company has.
How will my equipment be shipped?
Package your equipment using proper materials (sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, popcorn, etc.) so that it will arrive in good, working condition. Equipment is sent to the buyer C.O.D (company check) via UPS, FedEx, DHL. The buyer will even pay for shipping costs. What they will not pay for is if you hire a 3rd party shipper to package your equipment. For example, the UPS Store or Pack-N-Ship. Let me know if you are unclear on what typical shipping charges should be for your equipment.
When will I receive the check from the buyer for my equipment?
Typically, the shipping companies will take 5-7 business days to send you your check. My fees will not be included in your check as the buyer will cut IzzyAbby a separate check.
